Food Safety
Our commitment to food safety
At Keik we celebrate big moments, and none of that matters if you can't trust what you eat. That's why we publish the licenses and inspection results for our three stores here, exactly as they appear in Florida's official state record, so anyone can check them.
Who inspects Keik restaurants?
Every restaurant in Florida is inspected by the Division of Hotels and Restaurants of the Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR). Visits are unannounced. Each Keik store has its own license and its own inspection history.
What was each store's most recent inspection result?
All three stores met state inspection standards on their most recent visit.
| Store | DBPR license | Last inspection | Result |
|---|---|---|---|
| Keik Pembroke Pines 11033 Pines Blvd |
SEA1626106 | October 22, 2026 | Met inspection standards |
| Keik Doral 1450 NW 87th Ave, Suite 110 |
SEA2331564 | September 17, 2026 | Met inspection standards |
| Keik Kendall 11735 SW 147th Ave #1 |
SEA2332816 | August 27, 2026 | Met inspection standards |
No Keik store has an emergency closure on its official record. You can check it at myfloridalicense.com: search by license number and open "View Recent Inspections".
Why do some websites show inspections from before Keik opened?
Some third-party sites group a location's entire address history under its current name, including businesses that operated there before. That's how inspections, fines or closures from years when Keik didn't exist, or didn't operate at that location, end up under Keik's name. Keik was founded in 2020. The dates that count are those on each license's official record:
- Doral: Keik's first inspection at this location, November 2023.
- Pembroke Pines: licensing inspection, August 14, 2024.
- Kendall: license issued April 3, 2025, to the franchise; first inspection January 9, 2025.
Any record before those dates belongs to another business. If you find one, write to us and we'll clear it up.
How do we handle food safety every day?
- A certified food manager on every shift.
- Ongoing food safety training for every position through Opus, our digital training platform.
- Refrigeration and cooking temperatures logged every shift.
- Scheduled preventive pest control by a licensed company.
- Cross-store internal audits to keep the same standard at all three locations.
What about the ingredients?
We make our cakes and desserts from scratch, with our own recipes. We use only cage-free eggs, and all our bread is sourdough except the brioche burger bun. One central kitchen prepares the cakes for all three stores, so they taste the same in Doral, Kendall and Pembroke Pines.
How do I report a problem?
If something wasn't right during your visit, we want to know. Write to us from your store's contact page: Doral, Kendall or Pembroke Pines. The store's management reviews it directly.
